Every visit to Merrill feels new. The owner, Jordan, is constantly refreshing spaces and displays, infusing his background in art and fashion into every room. No two shoots ever look the same.

We’ve photographed everything from a wedding menswear collaboration to an art exhibition and a weekend lifestyle session here — and each felt completely different. The atmosphere changes with the light, the season, and even the curation of art on the walls.

One of my favourite moments was photographing Evert’s first art exhibition. As he spoke about his creative process surrounded by friends, the air was filled with pride and emotion — exactly the kind of authenticity this venue inspires.
